Bison have mixed results in rematches

The North Iowa Bison continued their second round of conference basketball games during the final days of January, as they went 1-3 in their past four matches. The Bison traveled to Forest City on Friday, Jan. 24, where they lost their second game to the Indians, 43-69.

Logan Sabin was the top scorer for North Iowa with 12 points, followed by Cedric Frerichs with 10. Riley Sabin led in rebounds with six, and Frerichs and Dominyk Price followed with five each.

On Tuesday, Jan. 28, North Iowa hosted West Hancock in another close contest with the Eagles.

After leading by five points in the first two quarters, the game slipped away from the Bison in the second half, as they fell 50-58.

Frerichs led the Bison offense with 16 points on Tuesday, followed by Logan Sabin with 12.

Kade Hobbs and both Sabin boys made seven rebounds apiece. Price led in steals with four.
