Fringe Salon welcomes new stylist

Halie Heidecker of Lakota is bringing her talents to Fringe Salon in Buffalo Center, where she started as a hair stylist this June.

Halie earned her cosmetology license from PCI Academy in Ames in 2012, and she previously worked at salons in Bancroft and Blue Earth, MN.

She joins fellow stylist and Fringe Salon owner Megan Holland, and the two ladies work opposite hours to give one-on-one attention to their customers.

“I love it here, it’s really nice,” said Halie. “Megan is great. I couldn’t have found a better place to be.”

Halie says it was her grandma Linda Heidecker who got her interested in becoming a hair stylist. “She has always had her own shop in her house, so I grew up around that,” said Halie.

Halie also works at Road Runners Bar & Grill in Lakota, which is run by her dad and step-mom, Greg and Donna Heidecker.

Her hours at Fringe Salon include Monday, Thursday and Friday evenings, as well as Tuesday and Wednesday mornings. She is also available on Saturdays by appointment. She says she’s working to build up her clientele, and she’s available for appointments by calling Fringe Salon at 641-562-2022 or by visiting them on Facebook.
