Kenneth Isebrand

Kenneth “Newt” Isebrand, 63, of Titonka, passed away June 26, 2022, at Kossuth Regional Health Center in Algona. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday, July 23, at First Baptist Church in Buffalo Center. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.

Kenneth James, son of Harvey and Gladys (Gustin) Isebrand, was born January 3, 1959, in Britt. He attended Titonka Consolidated School, graduating in 1977. Newt worked for the next 43 years at Winnebago Industries in Forest City, mainly doing body and repair work to mobile homes.

Newt was united in marriage with Judy Ostercamp April 27, 1996, at First Baptist Church in Forest City, and the couple made their home in Titonka. Newt loved motorcycles and belonged to a Harley Davidson group from Algona until it disbanded. Newt was also an avid NASCAR fan. He spent many hours helping remodel houses for family and friends, whom he enjoyed spending time with. Newt was a great stepdad, loving husband, and a kind and caring man. He was a faithful member of First Baptist Church in Buffalo Center until his health declined, and he could no longer attend.

Newt will be lovingly remembered by his wife Judy Isebrand of Titonka; his two stepchildren and their families: Michelle Ostercamp Hanson (Nick) of Woden and their children Tim Buck and Shaylee Ostercamp, and Todd Attig (Anna Marie) of Mitchellville and their daughter Saylah Attig; his sisters Deb Isebrand (Mark) of Peru, IN and Karen Isebrand (Denny) of Lone Rock; and several nieces and one nephew. Newt’s parents Harvey and Gladys and stepmom Nancy Holland Isebrand preceded him in death.
