RSVP for annual veterans banquet

     The annual Veterans Appreciation Banquet will be held once again this Veterans Day weekend in Lakota, on Sunday, Nov. 12 at the Eagle Center. The free event, which is part of Hunting with Heroes, begins with a social hour at 4:30 p.m., followed by a program at 5:15 and then a fully catered meal.

     All area veterans, spouses and surviving veterans’ spouses are invited to attend the all-expenses paid banquet. Anyone wishing to attend should RSVP by November 1 by calling Denny Murra at 641-562-2198 or by texting Cathy Kelly at 515-538-0572.

     Several prizes will be given away, including three commemorative rifles for veterans and gift certificates for two widows of veterans. All veterans and widows of veterans attending will also receive a gas card from K&H.
