First Congregational welcomes new pastor

Pastor Jonathan David Faulkner is the new pastor of First Congregational Church of Buffalo Center. He moves to Buffalo Center with his wife, Rachel, and three-month-old daughter, Erin, from South Hamilton, MA. That’s where he recently graduated from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary with a Masters of Divinity and a Masters of Church History.

Jonathan was born in Burlington, IA and grew up in Albany, OH, where his parents still reside. He spent six years living in Kansas, where he attended Sterling College; receiving a Bachelor’s in Christian Education and Administration and pastored a small church in Stafford Kansas.

Rachel was born in Massachusetts and raised in New Hampshire. Jonathan and Rachel are both pastors’ kids. They met through Eharmony.com and got married in May of 2017. On February 22 of this year, they welcomed their first child, a baby girl, to their family.
