The second round of Top of Iowa Conference baseball games is quickly wrapping up, and the North Iowa Bison hosted Forest City Monday, June 23 in a rematch with the conference leaders. The Bison couldn’t get much going on offense, but they did a better job of managing the Indians in this time around as they held them scoreless for the first four innings in a 6-0 loss.
North Iowa had three hits on Monday, with one each from Tate Engelbarts, Kevin Hagen, and Gavin Grunhovd. Jamison Kramersmeier and Cale Lorenzen each drew a walk, while Engelbarts was hit by a pitch to get on base.
